Easy DIY Spring Bouquet

Have I got the easiest and cheapest DIY for you this season. A little something to make your home pop or color and smell amazing. We have a couple lilac shrubs hiding in our backyard where no one can really see. The other day I was out with the kids and looked over in that hidden corner and saw the lilacs had bloomed. Instantly I wanted a fresh bouquet of them in our home. I rounded up some things around the house cut and hold these lilacs. All you’ll need are:

• Garden Clippers

• Decorative Bucket or Vase

• Flower Clippings

I wanted a really really full bouquet so I found one of my large olive buckets I wanted to use but of course it has little holes all around it so I came up with the idea of using an empty, completely cleaned out old paint can as my “vase” then stuck it inside of the olive bucket.

After I cut all my lilacs that I wanted to use, I simply just cut/picked all the dead and unused sticks throughout the stem, then took my garden clippers and cut the end of the stem at an angle. Then I started lining them around the paint can vase.

I started out laying the stems all around the edge of the can and simply works my way upwards..

And that’s it! Seriously so easy and so quick and SO pretty. You can use this almost anywhere in the house but I chose to use it as a simple spring centerpiece on our little table. If you are just stumped on what to do for a little spring decor or looking for something really inexpensive, I think this could be a winner for you. I want to thank you so much for stopping by the blog today. It means the world to me. And if you decide to do something like this tag me or share it with me. I’d love to see it and I know it’ll come out beautiful. You can find me on Instagram if you have any questions. Happy Spring! xx
